Worker Detail

Review and manage one worker's time, attendance, shifts, performance, picking activity, and badge

Worker Detail brings a person's current status, Labor actions, and historical views together on one page.

Open a Worker

Select a worker from the Manager Dashboard or Live Board, or choose View Labor Details from the member's actions. Confirm the selected warehouse before making changes.

Worker Summary and Actions

The sidebar shows the worker's current Labor state, job, next job, shift check-in, allowed warehouses, and any available employment, hire-date, or termination context. The available action menu changes with the worker's state and your permissions.

Actions can include:

  • Generate Authentication Barcode or Manage Barcodes
  • Assign Next Job
  • Start Job or Switch Job
  • Finish Current Job
  • Clock In or Clock Out
  • Start Break or End Break
  • Add Manual Activity Entry
  • Record Call-Out or Cancel Call-Out

Only actions that make sense for the worker's current state are shown. For example, Finish Current Job appears when there is an active job, while Clock In appears when the worker is not clocked in.

Timeline

The Timeline is a day-by-day visual history of the worker's Labor activity. It can show work, no-job time, breaks, lunch, call-outs, no-shows, and the current point in time.

Use the timeline to:

  • See when work changed from one job to another
  • Identify gaps or unusually long entries
  • Review processing activity attached to a work segment
  • Open linked jobs
  • Correct completed entries

More history loads as you move toward the end of the activity list.

Edit a Completed Entry

Open the entry's actions and choose Edit. Update the job, notes, or time as needed, then save the correction.

Active entries must be finished or clocked out before they can be edited. Add a clear note so another manager can understand why the change was made.

Delete a Completed Entry

Use Delete only when an entry should not exist. Confirm the worker, job, and time before deleting because the entry will no longer appear in the Timeline or reports.

Prefer editing when the worker performed the work but the job or time is inaccurate.

Attendance

The Attendance tab lists recorded call-outs for the worker. Use it to review absence history separately from the day-to-day work timeline.

Record or cancel a call-out from the worker action menu when the schedule changes. See Shift Scheduling for the full workflow.

Shift Summary

Choose a date to review:

  • Total, work, break, and overtime hours
  • Jobs performed and time on each job
  • Items processed and hourly rate when available
  • Break and lunch history
  • Compliance warnings

The summary is useful for a daily check before making a correction or approving a shift recap.

Performance

Choose a date range and group the trend by day, week, or month. The tab shows:

  • Overall efficiency
  • Number of completed entries included
  • Performance by job
  • Average time and baseline for each job
  • Efficiency trend over time

Entries without a usable baseline do not contribute to efficiency. Use the company-wide Performance dashboard (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) when you need rankings or team comparison. See Performance Tracking for metric definitions and review guidance.

Picker Stats

Picker Stats focuses on recorded picking sessions for the selected date range. It includes:

  • Session count
  • Average picking time
  • Average efficiency
  • Efficiency range across the selected sessions
  • Eaches per hour
  • Recent sessions with eaches, duration, a 0–10 score, and benchmark type

Eaches per hour uses the total number of individual product units and elapsed start-to-close time for the completed sessions in the selected range. The range includes sessions starting at or after its start and before its end; sessions without a positive duration do not contribute.

A missing score usually means the session did not have enough information for a dependable comparison. Review warehouse benchmark readiness before using picker scores for coaching.

Common Manager Workflows

Finish Work Without Clocking Out

Choose Finish Current Job when the worker has completed that job but remains on paid time. The worker moves into a no-job state and can receive another assignment.

Correct a Missed Scan

  1. Confirm the intended warehouse, job, and time with the worker.
  2. Choose Add Manual Activity Entry.
  3. Enter the start and end time.
  4. Add a correction note.
  5. Review the new segment in the Timeline.

Manage a Badge

Use Generate Authentication Barcode for a worker without an active badge or Manage Barcodes to review and replace existing credentials. Print or place the badge where a kiosk scanner can read it reliably.
