Labor

Labor Overview

Set up and operate warehouse time, staffing, scheduling, performance, kiosks, alerts, and labor billing

Labor tracks warehouse time, jobs, staffing, schedules, and performance. It does not calculate wages, taxes, deductions, or payroll.

  1. Enable Labor in Configuration → Feature Toggles (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab). Assign roles and warehouse access, including notification recipients.
  2. Review Labor Settings: operating hours, attendance, breaks, alerts, and performance thresholds. Set warehouse overrides where needed.
  3. Review system jobs, create any custom jobs, and prepare shift templates and assignments.
  4. Pair and test a kiosk, issue worker badges, and verify time and job actions before rollout.
  5. Enable supported Auto Tracking workflows one at a time. Check the worker Timeline and related records after each change.
  6. Review completed history before relying on performance baselines. Check sample exports and client billing before wider use.

Scheduling records planned work; activity entries record actual time. Finish Current Job leaves a worker clocked in with no job. Clock Out ends recorded working time.
