Shopify Integration
Automatically sync orders, products, and tracking information between Cybership and Shopify.
Connect Shopify to import orders and listings, publish inventory, and report fulfillment.
Setting Up the Integration
- Open Settings → Integrations (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) and choose Add Integration → Shopify.
- Select Install Shopify App, sign in with store-admin access, and review the requested permissions.
- Install the app and return to Cybership. If prompted, select the team that owns the store.
- Review the connected shop, warehouse fulfillment locations, product links, and inventory-sync settings before processing orders.
You can connect multiple stores, each with its own configuration. Confirm ownership before linking a store.
How Synchronization Works
Shopify sends order and product changes through webhooks. Initial and recovery syncs can process larger sets of records; use the shop's sync actions when an update is missing. Sync completion depends on workload and platform availability.
Shopify products and variants become product listings. Confirm their links to the correct warehouse products, especially missing SKUs and custom line items.
Cybership publishes inventory to mapped Shopify locations when inventory sync is enabled. Use Understanding Inventory to interpret availability; label purchase alone does not describe every stock movement.
Fulfillment Requests
Shopify assigns work through fulfillment orders and fulfillment locations. Check the assigned location and request state if an order is not ready to process.
Configure automatic request acceptance, cancellation acceptance, and rejection in Configuration. A request still needs the required readiness checks. Use Fulfillment Orders for holds, inventory, address verification, and routing.
Completed fulfillment sends shipment and tracking information back to Shopify. Split fulfillment can produce multiple shipments for one order. Use shipment mappings to map storefront shipping methods.
Troubleshooting
- Missing order: Check the owning team, shop authorization, sync scope, and Shopify fulfillment location. Run the appropriate sync and inspect its result.
- Not auto-accepted: Check configuration, request status, holds, product links, stock, and address readiness.
- Inventory differs: Confirm listing links, warehouse/location mappings, and inventory-sync settings before adjusting physical stock.
- Reconnecting: Check the existing shop and mappings before reinstalling; confirm the correct team when relinking.
