Members

Add team members, manage access, and review each member's account and operational activity.

The ShipOS Members page (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) brings account access and member activity into the main workspace.

Go to ShipOS → Members (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab). The same member-management table is also available under ShipOS → Settings → Members (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab).

Use a managed account for warehouse workers who do not have a work email. Use an unmanaged account for people who already use Cybership with another team or who should control their own password.

Add a member

Click Add Member and choose one of two account types.

Invite Unmanaged Account

Use an unmanaged account when the person should own their Cybership credentials.

  1. Choose Invite Unmanaged Account.
  2. Enter the email address.
  3. Select Member or Admin.
  4. For a Member, select custom roles and allowed warehouses.
  5. Click Invite.

The invitation remains under Pending Invitations until it is accepted or cancelled.

Create Managed Account

Use a managed account for a team-owned warehouse login.

  1. Choose Create Managed Account.
  2. Enter the member's name and account details.
  3. Select the power role.
  4. For a Member, select custom roles and allowed warehouses.
  5. Add an External ID when needed.
  6. Click Create Account.
  7. Copy or print the generated credentials.

Managed-account actions can update the name, username, email, External ID, and password. Unmanaged members control their own account details.

Import managed accounts

Click Import to create managed accounts from CSV.

  1. Download the current template from the import dialog.
  2. Fill in the member rows using the template's column names.
  3. Upload the CSV.
  4. Review row-level results after the import completes.
  5. Copy or print credentials for successfully created accounts.

Use the downloaded template rather than a saved older copy so the file matches the current import format.

Power roles and custom roles

Power roleAccess behavior
OwnerFull team control
AdminBroad team and feature access, subject to owner-only restrictions
MemberNo permissions by default; access comes from custom roles

A Member without custom roles has no feature permissions. Assign at least one role for the work they need to perform.

Custom roles combine. If one role grants picking access and another grants inventory access, the member receives both sets of permissions.

Use the member actions to:

  • Assign Role
  • Manage Roles
  • Update Power Role
  • Remove from Team

Available actions depend on your own permissions and your position in the power-role hierarchy.

Warehouse access

Members need explicit warehouse access in addition to the permissions supplied by their roles.

  1. Open the member's actions.
  2. Select Manage Allowed Warehouses.
  3. Choose the warehouses the member can use.
  4. Save.

Admins and Owners with no explicit warehouse list are shown as having All Warehouses.

Member detail and recent activity

Open a member row to view the member profile and available operational detail.

When Labor is enabled and data is available, the detail page can include:

  • Timeline of recent activity entries
  • Attendance and call-out history
  • Shift Summary
  • Performance
  • Picker Stats

The selected warehouse scopes warehouse-specific Labor data. Job rows in the activity timeline link to the related Labor job.

Depending on permissions and enabled features, the member detail actions can also manage:

  • Warehouse access
  • Power role and custom roles
  • Authentication barcode
  • Managed-account profile and password
  • Labor activity and assignments

MFA status

The MFA column shows whether a member has enabled two-factor authentication. Each member configures MFA from their own Account Settings → Security (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) page.

See Account Security.

Remove a member

  1. Open the member's actions.
  2. Select Remove from Team.
  3. Confirm removal.

Removal ends access to the team. Historical operational records remain associated with the member for reporting and activity history.
