Shipping Labels

Generate, manage, and track shipping labels for your fulfillment orders across multiple carriers and service levels.

Generate labels through Manual Fulfillment, Packing Stations, or Bulk Ship. Use ShipOS → Orders → Shipping Labels (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) to review labels and tracking.

Generating Shipping Labels

  1. Configure a carrier integration.
  2. Complete package contents, weight, dimensions, and the shipping address in your fulfillment workflow.
  3. Review the selected service or available rates.
  4. Generate the label, review the result, and print it for the correct package.

Use the formats offered by your carrier integration and printer setup. For multi-package fulfillment, check the label attached to every package.

Managing Shipping Labels

Open a label to review its carrier, service, cost, tracking, and refund status, or reprint it. Carrier scan and delivery status are separate from label purchase: buying a label does not mean the carrier has received the parcel.

Tracking updates depend on the carrier. If progress is missing, check the carrier's tracking page and confirm the package was handed over. Sales-channel notifications depend on the connected platform.

Voiding Shipping Labels

  1. Open the label and choose Void Label.
  2. Review and confirm the action.
  3. Check the result and refund status before generating a replacement.

Do not reuse a voided label. Void eligibility and refunds depend on the carrier and label state; a submitted refund request is not a confirmed refund. Labels bought outside Cybership may also need to be cancelled with the original provider.

Package details cannot be edited while a label remains attached. Void it before correcting measurements or changing the service. If the shipment itself must be undone, use Revert Fulfillment.

Shipping Label Charges

Carrier costs are recorded on the label. For merchant billing, Charges and Rate Cards determine what is invoiced. Review billing adjustments separately from the carrier refund.

International Shipping

Check descriptions, declared values, country of origin, and HS codes for the products. Review the customs documents and any destination-specific requirements before dispatch.

Enable International Shipping under Settings → Configuration → Feature Toggles (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab). In Shipping, review Incoterm, EEL/PFC, Delivery Confirmation, and Insurance Policy.

Team defaults can be overridden at supported merchant and order levels. Leave Incoterm or EEL/PFC unset unless required for the shipment. See Configuration.

Rate Quote Tool

Use the rate quote tool to compare estimates without creating an order. Enter package measurements and origin and destination addresses, then review the returned services and costs.

Export Shipping Labels

Export your shipping labels to a CSV file for reporting, auditing, or cost analysis.

The export contains one row per package currently linked to each matching shipping label. Labels without a linked package remain in the CSV with blank package columns. Label columns are repeated on every package row.

Dimensions and weight use the units stored on the package and are not converted. Package details cannot be edited while a shipping label remains attached.

How to Export

  1. Navigate to ShipOS → Orders → Shipping Labels (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab)
  2. Optionally apply filters or search
  3. Optionally select specific labels using checkboxes
  4. Click Export
  5. Choose the export scope (Selected, Current Page, Search Results, or All)
  6. The CSV file downloads automatically once processing completes

Exports run asynchronously. You can continue working while the export processes.

Shipping label export is read-only. Importing shipping labels via CSV is not supported — labels are created through the label generation workflow.

Troubleshooting

  • Label generation fails: review the returned error, carrier credentials/account status, address, service availability, measurements, and customs information.
  • Cost looks wrong: check measurement units, dimensional weight, and the merchant's rate card.
  • Tracking is missing: confirm the label was used and check the carrier's tracking record.
