USPS Integration
Connect your USPS account to access shipping services, competitive rates, and real-time tracking.
Connect USPS to quote shipping rates and buy labels from your account.
Setting Up the Integration
- Confirm your USPS business account has the required API and payment access. Your team needs the applicable CRID, EPS account, MID, and manifest details configured; ask your administrator or Cybership support if they are missing.
- Open Settings → Integrations (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) and choose Add Integration → USPS.
- Click Connect USPS Account, sign in at USPS, and authorize Cybership.
- Return to ShipOS and review the connection before purchasing a label.
These business-account identifiers differ from a normal USPS.com username and password.
Shipping
Enter complete origin and destination addresses, actual package weight and dimensions, and any required customs details. Review the returned service and price before purchasing.
Use shipment mappings or rate shops for automatic selection. Use scan forms for supported end-of-day manifests.
Carrier services, prices, package limits, and international requirements depend on the account and route. Review current provider requirements when a shipment is rejected.
Troubleshooting
- Authentication failure: Check the account, credentials, and authorization. Update the connection if credentials changed.
- No rates: Check enabled carrier accounts and services, address completeness, package measurements, and service coverage.
- Purchase failure: Review the displayed error and account funding where applicable. Inspect existing labels before retrying.
- Tracking missing: Check the label and carrier tracking; a purchased label may not yet have a carrier scan.
For voiding or replacement, follow Shipping Labels. Refund eligibility and timing depend on the provider; a void request is not a confirmed refund.
For permanent connection removal, review the integration deletion impact.
