Merchant Onboarding
Set up merchants and connect sales channels
Navigate to ShipOS → Merchants (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab).
Create Merchant
Click Create Merchant to establish the fulfillment relationship.
Form Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Merchant Team Name | Used on shipping labels (brand/organization name) |
| Payment Period | Informational only, doesn't impact invoicing |
| Currency | Cannot be changed after creation |
| Measurement System | Imperial vs Metric for product measurements |
| Base Rate Card | Foundational pricing for invoice calculations (rate card docs) |
| Override Rate Card | Overrides base rates for preferential pricing |
| Payment Terms | Invoice payment due timeline |
Invite Merchant to Self-Manage (Optional)
To let merchants manage their own inventory, products, and purchase orders:
Go to MerchantOS → Settings → Team Members (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) and invite them via email.
Connect Sales Channels
View Shops
Check connected shops from ShipOS → Merchants (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) by opening the merchant and reviewing the shops table.
Add Shop
Go to MerchantOS → Settings → Shops (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) and click Add Shop.
