Pausing Fulfillment
Temporarily pause fulfillment for a merchant while keeping inventory, orders, and warehouse handling traceable.
Pause fulfillment to stop outbound shipment progress for one merchant. Other merchants continue normally.
Pause And Resume
Open Merchants (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab) and choose Pause Fulfillment from the merchant's action menu. Choose Resume Fulfillment to allow work to continue.
What Pause Does
| Work | While paused |
|---|---|
| New picking sessions | The merchant's orders are excluded. Explicitly selected orders are reported as allocation failures. |
| Bulk Ship | Orders are excluded; a batch with no eligible orders is blocked. |
| Already-assigned picking | Picking and stock movement remain allowed and recorded. |
| Packing and packages | Packing changes, package creation/updates, rates, documents, and packing lists are blocked. |
| Labels and completion | Label generation, purchase, upload, and fulfillment completion are blocked. |
| Manual fulfillment | Creation, pick lists, packing, labels, and completion are blocked. |
| Hospital | Moving picked work into hospital is allowed; resuming picking is blocked until the merchant resumes. |
| Administration | Orders still import, records remain visible, and merchant settings can be edited. |
Pausing does not cancel orders or picking sessions, release reserved inventory, reverse picks, or stop storage charges.
Already-Picked Work
If a merchant is paused during picking, stock movement can still be recorded so the system reflects inventory already in hand. Packing and completion stop the shipment. Move the picked tote or order into hospital until the pause is resolved.
Troubleshooting
If orders are missing from picking or Bulk Ship, check the merchant's pause state and settings. Resume only when outbound work should continue.
Picking an already-assigned order during a pause is expected. Check that packing, labels, and completion remain blocked, and route picked work to hospital.
