Shipment Insights

Compare carrier performance, delivery trends, costs, and shipments that need follow-up.

Shipment Insights gives operations teams a post-shipment view of delivery performance and exception work.

Go to ShipOS → Shipping → Insights (opens the Cybership dashboard in a new tab). The selected warehouse scopes the dashboard.

Filter the dashboard

Every section uses the same filters:

  • Time range: Last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 3 months
  • Merchant: Available to 3PL teams
  • Carrier
  • Service: Available after selecting a carrier

Changing a filter updates the KPIs, carrier table, delivery trend, state map, and problem-shipment lists together.

Overview KPIs

The overview shows:

KPIWhat it summarizes
Avg Transit TimeAverage time shipments spent in transit
Avg Dispatch TimeAverage time from order creation to shipment dispatch
On-Time DeliveryShare of delivered shipments that met the expected delivery window
Total DeliveredDelivered shipments in the selected scope
Avg Shipping CostAverage stored cost for paid labels
Problem ShipmentsShipments matching at least one problem category

Carrier Performance

The Carrier Performance table compares shipment count, transit time, on-time percentage, failures, returns, and cost by carrier. Expand a carrier to see the services that produced its totals.

Use this view to compare service-level results within the same filtered warehouse, merchant, and time range.

Delivery Trend

The Delivery Trend chart groups delivered and failed outcomes over the selected period. It uses the same filters as the rest of the dashboard, so you can narrow the chart to one carrier or service.

Transit Time by State

The map shows average transit time and delivery count for U.S. destination states. Hover over a state to see its values.

Review the delivery count with the transit time. A state with only a small number of deliveries may not represent the broader network.

Problem Shipments

Problem shipments are separated into four views:

  • Delayed
  • Stuck
  • Failed
  • Not Scanned

Categories can overlap. Select a tracking code to open the shipping label, or change the shipment's investigation status:

  • None
  • Investigating
  • Unresolved
  • Resolved

Enable Hide Resolved to focus on open work. Updating an investigation status records follow-up state on the shipping label; it does not request new tracking events from the carrier.

When data is empty

Shipment Insights depends on shipping labels, stored costs, and carrier tracking events in the selected scope. If a section is empty:

  1. Confirm the correct warehouse is selected.
  2. Widen the time range.
  3. Clear merchant, carrier, and service filters.
  4. Open a shipping label and confirm that it has a carrier, tracking code, and tracking activity.
